GAIA-X 4 AI: The Future of Mobility is Data-Driven

GAIA-X 4 KI

GAIA-X 4 KI is a subproject from the mobility domain and focuses on the development of a GAIA-X-based data and services ecosystem for training and validating automotive-relevant AI applications. Under the leadership of the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V.), research is being conducted into new areas of application for AI in the field of automation - for example, in automated and connected driving: AI can, for example, help to recognize and interpret a vehicle's environment. But AI is also becoming increasingly important in manufacturing, especially in production optimization. In this context, AI can only be developed successfully if it draws on a high-quality and large amount of data, as this forms the basis for training and testing the algorithms. In this context, open and flexible system environments and their scalability according to demand are essential.

Big Data becomes Smart Data

The partnership between CONWEAVER and T-Systems makes contextual knowledge usable in the GAIA-X 4 AI project. With its PDM WebConnector, T-Systems enables seamless integration of heterogeneous IT systems. The content of this data is merged with CONWEAVER's Linksphere platform and stored in an enterprise knowledge graph. The context knowledge generated in this way can then be used very easily and intuitively for a variety of web applications.
From smart engineering using networked data, to digital manufacturing, to a contextualized database for AI applications, T-Systems and CONWEAVER are making data fit for the mobility of tomorrow.
