AI is only as strong as the database it operates on.

Following last year’s successful anniversary event, Linked Data Day will once again serve as the central forum for industrial knowledge and interconnected data landscapes in the fall of 2026. The focus will be on the question: How can we successfully transition from fragmented data silos to a robust knowledge architecture that AI can truly trust?

Artificial intelligence is transforming industry at an unprecedented pace. Companies are investing heavily in AI – yet many projects fall short of expectations. Not because the models are too weak, but because the foundation is missing: reliable, interconnected, and contextualized enterprise knowledge.

At Linked Data Day 2026, we will discuss with partners, customers, and industry stakeholders how data-driven business context and AI can be successfully implemented on an industrial scale. Enterprise Knowledge Graphs and CONWEAVER’s Linksphere platform, serving as the technological foundation, will play a central role in this.

A particular focus is on strategies to ensure the semantic data context layer, as well as concrete applications, such as AI, digital twins, and digital product passports, and the necessary IT architectures and digital ecosystems.

Case studies and insights from leading industrial companies will once again be key program highlights. After all, increasing competitiveness and resilience through the targeted use of efficient and innovative methods is more relevant than ever for the industry. The key question here is how the promise and potential of AI can be reliably realized.

The event offers inspiring keynotes, practical insights, and valuable networking opportunities for everyone who wants to actively shape the future of an intelligent industry.

Program and participation

The 11th Linked Data Day will take place in Darmstadt at the darmstadtium science and congress center. It starts on the evening of September 17th, 2026 with an informal get-together in the restaurant “Calla” in the darmstadtium.

The conference itself, Linked Data Day, will then begin on September 18th, 2026 at 9 am with expert presentations and discussions on all topics relating to knowledge graphs and lifecycle management in the fields of manufacturing and engineering.
